Hello to all...
I am new to this board so I will introduce myself.
I am a 31 year old male with 8 years as a local police officer in VA. I am currently a criminal investigator and a trained crime scene evidence technician. I have a 4 year degree and hope to get a Fed Agent job soon. I have applied to:
- HHS as an agent (outstanding scholar)
- DOE as an Agent (outstanding scholar)
- I am waiting on the "bubble sheet" from USCS
- EPA (I did not put my DOB on the appl so it will be rejected)
- Air Marshals (awaiting Jersey)
I look forward to actively participating in this forum.

Welcome Spider

You and I have fairly similar backgrounds. I am currently a police officer in upstate NY, 27 years old, with 4 years of experience. I too have a bachelors degree, former NYS emergency medical technician and am awaiting the air marshals, and recently sent in my bubble sheet to customs. I am finishing up my ksa's for the secret service also (Special Agent position) and am hoping to send that in relatively soon. I applied back in october for the air marshals, received my qualifications sheet back from them in November and have yet to hear anything also.

I'm assuming UofR is Richmond? Welcome to the forums. I'm sure your experiences will be of benefit to all and good luck to you as you try for those federal jobs.

Speaking of the Air Marshals, I actually received the Fed-Ex packet to fly to Jersey in November but because of schedule problems...had to reschedule to this spring. Thanks for the welcome, and yes...I went to Richmond. I look forward to communicating with you in the upcoming forums.
