I received an email today regarding the status of the FWS Recruitment of Special Agents.
Date: April 9, 2002
The proposed time line for the agent recruitment is as follows:
*April 29 - May 3, 2002 Ranking Panel meets to review and rate top
applicants.
*May 17, 2002 - Certificate list with top applicants will be issued and
forward to selecting official.
*June 6- July 3, 2002 - Interviews and Psychological Screening
*July 15 - September 7, 2002 - Selection of Special Agents
Completion of Medicals, Drug Testing
Background Investigations
*September 8, 2002 - New Agents enter on duty
