It takes about 4-6 months to get on with Amtrak. Alot depends on where you get hired (IE California Vs. NE Corridor. Unfortunatly APD does not have a web site. You have to send a resume to Amtrak human resources in your city.

It isn't Miami Vice where we are running and shooting everyday. Most of the time you are standing post.Yet it is a good start to the federal world.
