If you check out that Web Site, you will see it’s titled “Top Cop Humor”. Also, if you look close at the eBay display you will notice it has been cut and pasted. It’s just a spoof.
Even though that IS fake, this is NOT.

How can this company stay in business? Is it legal to sell seeds in Canada?
Heck no it's not! haha, and I have absoutly no idea how they get away with it..... I'm not to familar with the drug law's and certainly have no idea about canada's, but I think it would be a SERIOUS crime to be selling marijuana seeds, especially possesing a massive quantity as this particular gentleman seems to have.
David
I wouldn't go as far as to call this guy a "gentleman."
I'd WOULD go as far as to say he's no better then an thug off the street that is dealing. A suit doens't make a gentlement.
IF those sites make you mad, go to Books A Million and pick up a copy of High Times and educate yourself.
That magazine talks all about case law that is made when Bad cases are made. They also talk about case law that goes against them.
Also, the writers talk about car stops and searches and what people carrying contraband should do.

Also, the writers talk about car stops and searches and what people carrying contraband should do.Why is that wrong? I mean, I'm a cop, but lets be honest here... people DO have the right to understand the rules of the law when interacting with police, right? I think its very good for the population in general to understand that they have the right to NOT consent to a vehicle search. After all, there is good reason to want to prevent drug abuse, but honestly is it all that bad to want to smoke a joint if you're a medical marijuana user /cancer victim, aids victim, etc...? Studies show that 1/3 of the US have done illegal drugs... only a small percentage of those commit other crimes that we should be concerned with. I mean, don't you all just feel like hell arresting people for things that most of us have done and got away with without harming anyone?
To answer your question, there is nothing wrong with understanding your rights. What you need to do is Read HighTimes and see how they go about that. That talk about ways to be searches by hiding contraband and other things, like maybe guns or money.
Anyway, I haven't done ANY drugs. Now, I'm not holier than though, But I SURE as heck don't lose ANY sleep at night when I put someone in Jail for dope.
Second, where I'm from, no one is using marijuana for "medicinal reasons." I'm not for it, but I can understand someone who, "being in pain" and in there last days maybe, using marijuana to ease that pain.
I'll believe your 1/3 qoute when I see it backed up.
IF you feel bad for arresting people who smoke weed because you did it in your past, then fine, feel that way, but don't turn this around making it sound "okay" to smoke weed because its not. *And I know, weed isn't the worst drug out there.* But it's still illegal.
From the tone of your article, I get the feeling that you have qualms about arresting people for marijuana possession.
I'm pretty sure when this post was started, that why it was written, it is implied that no one was talking about medicinal usage.

Legal or illegal people die from Drinking and driving and they die from Smoking and driving.
We could argue the fact that marijuana should be legal for days on end but the simple fact is that it's illegal and no matter how you feel as a LEO it's your responsibility to confiscate it. Whether you write a summons or not is at your discretion.

Well I have personally investigated 3 fatal crashes this year where the driver of the at fault vehicle had nothing other than THC in their system, out those 3 only one of them died but the other 2 the cars they ran into people died. Including a 4 year old child.

I know that I should not even bother responding but there is just something that I would wish to inform you of. I am 22 years old and I am working in the parole/probation field, I work for the Intensive Supervision Program in the state of NJ, where most of all the people I deal with have a history of drug abuse and the first type of drug that any of these offenders used was marijuana which lead them to harsher and crueler drugs. Now I read in your previous post that most people use marijuana to relax and calm down, maybe that did for you, but that is not the case for a lot of individuals. I have conducted home visits on participants where they had just used marijuana and they have gotten violent to the point that we needed sheriff's officers to come in and arrest them. Also are you kidding me about driving HIGH.........come on now...it is a known fact that marijuana impairs your judgement and slows your reflexes down. Now in regards to alcohol, yes that is legal and look we still have a problem with it, what is to say that we wont have a problem still if marijuana is legal and at what age will the legal limit be. There are many flaws in your proposal. Do you want a six year old child smoking a joint b/c it's not bad for them, please be realistic. Another thing is that when someone is on probation or parole, they can not intake any drugs or alcohol period, to also the point that they can not take any over the counter medication which will show positive on a drug test or any prescription drugs taht are not theres or they will go to jail. Now am I going to say, well you know painkillers are not going to kill this guy so it's okay and I won't write him up for this incident. You can not be pro drug in any field of criminal justice end of story. Just a final comment as well, I do know someone who literally has died from just smoking a few bowls or whatever you want to call it, I saw what it can do firsthand as my cousin is literally a vegetable and can not do anything by himself and he is only in his 20s so please do not make yourself look any more foolish. I know I don't have much experience and I am your age but these individuals on this forum have tons and tons of work related and educational experience, just open your ears and listen to what they have to say, And I hate to say it, but it is people like you that make it hard for people like me to get into law enforcement at an early age.
