I just got some political info from the Libertarion Party the other day and one of their featured people in their brochure was Sheriff Masters. Seeing this got me interested in finding out more so I have been reading what I can find online about him. He seems to have an interesting stance on enforcing law especially involving drugs and possibly some other public order crimes. Anyone have any more info/thoughts or opinions about this guy and his style, I ordered his book today "the drug war addiction". Hopefully it will be an interesting read. So in closing any thoughts or opinions you may have I would be interested in hearing.

Thanx
Mule

Muleskinner, pulled the link from your post. Hope you enjoy the book and happy to have ideas exchanged here, but the first thing I got on the website was an opportunity to buy the book. Post quotes or whatever, too close to a solicitation my friend for this mod.

I got pulled over in San Miguel county back in 1985. At the time I was 18 and involved in things I shouldn't have been (and doing about 60 in a 25). It was night time and we drove through a really small town and I didn't notice the speed limit change. I believe I may have benefited from this sheriff's enforcement policy. All these years I just thought I was pulled over by a really "cool" officer.
