I don't know where to start. For those who knew him and didn't know, here it is. I know he knew people on the forum and I don't know if the word has spread. Sorry it's a little late, I just haven't had time to post it since I found out. If you want more info, please PM me.

Scott Rory Geissler
DENVER, Colo. - Special Agent, Scott Rory Geissler, 23, of the Department of Treasury, U.S. Customs, Chicago, Ill., formerly of Chippewa Falls, crossed over peacefully on July 22, 2002, at University of Colorado Hospital in Denver, Colo., after complications from an unexpected medical problem suffered on July 19, 2002.
I knew Scott since my sophomore year of college when I joined him to work at the University of MN Police Department. He was not only my supervisor at the time, but also a great friend and terrific role model. Scott was just the type of guy that everyone loved, especially the girls. :) He was also one hard worker that I continued to strive to be like everyday. He helped me get my start in law enforcement with being promoted and giving me great references on police applications. I remember all the excitement and stories he had when volunteering with Mpls PD and their drug unit. And it seems just like yesterday when he told me he was officially a United States Customs Service - Special Agent. A dream come true for him.
As crappy as it seems to say, it was only a week earlier that Kristin and I were talking about you and how lucky of a guy you were to be a Special Agent and all. We were planning to see you in Chicago as soon as I got out of the academy to catch up like old times. I got the call on Sunday at midnight and it was a shock of a lifetime. You know you have always be a mentor to me and I have always looked up to you. I am very thankful for everything you have taught me and I give you as much credit for helping get to where I am today. All I know is that I will continue to admire you for your courage and dedication.
I don't know what to say buddy. I know I am going to miss you like hell. Watch over all of us while you are up there and keep us all safe. Thanks for all the memories, you will be missed by MANY.
