Howdy all,

From what I understand US Customs issues Second Chance vests. I also read here that the supplier comes and fits each inspector. My question is will they be able to fit me? I am 6'3" 265 lbs. 56"chest and 36" waist on a long torso. It is tough finding tee shirts let alone something as critical as a vest. I have to go to the big and tall shops for jackets and then have the waist taken in, way in.
Any other gym rats out there that have a well fitting second chance vest?
Thanks,
JB

Second Chance custom makes the vest according to your measurements. So the vest that you get should fit you fine since it is custom made for you.

They may need to piece 6 vests together for you but they should be able to get you fixed up:D

"I'm big boned!!!"
:P

Drives my wife nuts. I can wear any pants (we have the same 32" inseam my wife and I) and 36" waist (not the wife, just me ) but she can't buy me anything for me above the waist without trying it out on me first. My ties have to be xtra long for Pete's sake. Its like going to a 9th century pesant's home with Andre the Giant. Something is getting broken!
I finally found a place that has cheap stuff for big lugs like me. Found a nice leather coat in 56 tall for $89. not bad!

JB- I had heard from someone else that Customs was now issuing U.S Armor vests this might only be for inspectors though.
If you are going S/A then I will remove my two cents.
