Any recommendations for a locking gun case that is plastic (manufacturers/brands). This is my first case, so I don't know what to look for exactly.

This will be only for one handgun right now (a Glock)...possibly 2 in the future. Do you need a seperate case for the ammo?

I just need it for transporting to and from the range and for storage in my locker at work. I do not have children, nor are children ever in my home.

Thanks for the input!

Your Glock will come with a perfectly serviceable plastic "tupperware" case and a cable lock. Don't blow money on a bigger case that doesn't do a whole lot more, you'll find that you'll use them very little.

If you are going to a Federal Academy you'll only have your pistol available to you at the range, they will store it for you on a rack when you are doing other training. You'll finally have it issued to you at graduation with the case and lock.
