I used to own a 92FS and still have one or two post pan LEO 15 round magazines. If you were local and a LEO I would let you have them for $10 a piece. But as is the case, your best bet may be to get them on letterhead (if it's a duty weapon) from your police supply place or FFL dealer. If you are not a LEO or want pre-ban check out Gunlist (in the magazine section) at Barnes and Noble. I think they have numerous ads for genuine pre-ban Beretta 15 rounders going for $60-75 NIB...

our local police supply stores don't carry 15 round mags. I found one supplier that does but he wants $100. per mag. i am a law enforcement officer so thats not the issue. it's price $$$$$

There are plenty of pre ban 15rd beretta mags out there. go to www.gunbroker.com type in "beretta" in the search window, and presto, bunch-o-mags. With so many floating around, dont spend a penny over $45 for one, unless you want a stainless factory mag. They go between $70 to $150 (stainless 15rd factory mags)

I dont have much gun knowledge yet...however, I have about a half dozen 15 round Beretta mags that I have somehow accumulated over my years of carrying this weapon in the Army. You mean to tell me that I can sell these things to a gun shop or something for that much money?! And if so, is it legal to sell these to shops, individuals, etc?

Hmmm. You probably should at least wait until you are no longer subject to the UCMJ before you try to sell them...whether you can legally possess them depends on the time frame when they were produced. If they are stamped "Law Enforcement and Military Use Only," as all new high-capacity magazines are, you do not want to have them in your possession unless you are either law enforcement or military.

If they are stamped "Law Enforcement and Military Use Only" they would only be worth about $10 a piece, from 1 LEO to another...........................

Anyone that pays a $100 bucks for a mag is crazy................

Nope, they have no stamp on them indicating Military or Law Enforcement Only. The thread got me curious, so I went to the storage room and looked. I have about two dozen of these things. I don't want anyone thinking I stole these. In the unit I was in, the armorer never made us sign for mags., so after coming in from the field, they sit in your equip, and you find them months later, or you PCS elsewhere. Anyway, the dept I will begin working for in a couple of months doesnt carry the Beretta, so I will have no need for these. After I am out of the military, can I LEGALLY sell these?
