Ok I am going to get a second chance superfeatherlite,what options should I get ?

What do you guys think of this vest? probaly in a 3 A but maybe a 2,

Second Chance is by all accounts one of the best manufacturers. As far as options and choices, these are up to you. Comfort is key, if the vest is uncomfortable you won't always wear it. I would get a trauma plate, maybe a soft one. Decide if you need stab and cut protection. Balance comfort with your realistic protection needs. 3A is designed to stop 9mm out of a 16" tube, a 2 isn't although it might.
Just my 2 cents, I've never worn a vest that wasn't agency issued. I have a level 2 Point Blank in my closet but it's about 10 years old. There has been a real revolution in vest technology in that time.
My current Dept. does not issue vests but requires them for felony tracks. Officers on the tracking team typically buy there own. I use the one a previous agency let me keep.

For this vest which BTW is very nice and comfy, I would go with the 3A. The more protection the better and you will not really notice much of a weight differance. More is better when it comes to your vest!
