Guns For ****** City Missouri PD???

I just received my packet in the mail, and it says that we have to buy our own duty weapon? Does anyone out there know or have a guess what weapon(s) are approved for us to buy?

It would be best to contact the agency direct. I wouldn't purchase a duty weapon on someone's word from this board.

If you're speaking of KCPD (couldn't tell which city because the name was filled with "*****"), it's the Glock 22. Though you will see some Sigma's and quite a few S&W 4026's floating around. They just held a sale to clear out all of the guns in inventory this week (sorry, KCPD officers only). $375 got an almost new Glock 22 with night sights in the box with three high capacity magazines (from recruits who dropped out prior to finishing the academy or break-in period). I already have my 22, but two of my friends still had Sigma's and each bought a Glock. The Glocks looked so new I couldn't tell even a round had been fired out of them. New holsters should be in by next week (no, you don't pay for those or any other duty gear items, just your gun)....

There seems to be a glich in the server that repalces certain words with ******* Admin is working on it.

When I worked for them you could only buy the S&W 4026 from them no dealers carried it. They have a deal where you can buy it from them and they will take a little bit out of each paycheck to pay for the gun. Thats the way to go.
