I've done a search on this forum because I'm considering purchasing night sights for my Glock 23. I only found really one that dealt with the Trijicon brand and Meprolight. I found it very informative but I was wondering if anyone else had any experience with the pros and cons of these particular brands. I' ve looked on the web but I'm not sure how biased the info is. Thanks again for the help.

I wouldn’t waste my money on night sites. Yeah they look nice, especially at the range, but any backlight at all blocks then out. Plus, I challenge anyone that has been in a shootout that say they had time to sight-in on a perp. If you have time to sight in, then you should be firing something other than your duty weapon. When the $#!+ hits the fan it’s just point, shoot and pray. I would spend my money on ammo and spend more time practicing.

I like the Trijicons. Got a set on two of my Glocks, model 23 and 36. Had Meps before on a USP 45, IMHO I think the Trijicons are better.

Three years working swingshift in the Border Patrol showed me the value of good night sights. For your Glock I recommend the Mepro sights. They are fairly low profile and as resistant to snagging clothing as you can get. We have two Glocks in the house, a 27 and a 19. Glockmeister in Phoenix installed Meprolights on them both. Contact Ben Paz at www.Glockmeister.com. He can do some other effective modifications to your Glock at the same time. Good luck, stay safe.

I've got Trijicons on my Glocks and wouldn't be without them.
