Hey quick question here. My current agency doesn't allow any mods on our, duty weapon, Glock 17, other than changing the grips. What are the pro's and cons of adding those rubberized grips? Also what are some good brands? Thanks

I don't know if you recall the G-19 or G-26 I carry, or the grip coverings that I put on them, but I'm a big fan of the A-Grips on the Glocks. I don't like the feel of the plastic stocks and the A-Grip gives a good non-slip grip. I like it a whole lot better than the rubber grip "socks" that slide up over the stocks. They tended to rotate a bit around. The A-Grip won't. You can get them over the internet from a variety of Glock stores, or you can check them out at Brooks Tactical.

You can also trim them however you'd like - I'd just check with your Agency about whether they're okay with you putting them on.

They also don't add any extra bulk, which sometimes those slip on rubber sleeves do.

I put skateboard tape on the side panels, it helps alot with the slippery feeling that is commen to the Glocks. Just an option.
