My mom gave me a prescription drug for an illness I had. Will this DQ me? The prescription was for her and not for me.
Generally speaking, not unless you abused it or are still taking it. Relax.

OK time for a Public Service Announcement:
Sorry, but this is a serious safety issue, aside from the BI.
In my civilian job I work with health care professionals and pharmaceuticals all the time. Do not take prescription medication unless it was prescribed for you. Any med approved by the FDA is generally safe, but there may be specific reasons why it is not safe for certain individuals. Licensed physicians, physician assistants or nurse practioners are the only people qualified to make the determination what treatment is correct for you. You do not want to risk serious complications by taking meds that were not appropriate for you.
Also, once you have completed your treatment, disose of any excess medication. Medication can break down over time and become toxic, and just because the meds were right for you last year your medical status may have changed, and the old drug may no longer be appropriate for you.
End PSA
Sorry to rant, but it's serious business.

take other peoples meds...can't tell you how many times, while working on an ambulance, I heard that a physician could not administer the drugs he/she wanted to because their patient self medicated with someone elses scripts...
Not a good idea, if it hurts....see YOUR doctor
if your sick....see YOUR doctor
if your mental....you get the point
