Found two silver/gray-colored stars next to y user name. What is the significance of this?
I also remember seeing four gold ones some time ago.

It's a icon that identifies your rank as a Sergeant member of the forums.
The gold ones were probably the 'bars' that were awarded by Bob to members who made donations to his appeal last year. Some of us still have them, but some were lost in the changeover to the new Board.

Here's a breakdown of stars associated with rank:
Rookie: 1 gold star (0-99 posts).
Sergeant: 2 silver stars (100-399 posts).
Lieutenant: 3 blue stars (400-699 posts).
Captain: 4 red stars (700+ posts).

Not a big deal, but I used to be a Sgt. member and now I'm a rookie. I haven't logged in for a while, but it looks like maybe some stuff got archived?
I'm not concerned about what rank I have, just curious about the archive.
Thanks!

We all lost some of our post rankings when two forums were merged into one.
Don't worry about it... I lost my Grand Poomba Title as well...

You always will be 4 gold stars to me. <w> Just remember me when you become Chief someday.
