Receiving Posts as they're posted

Hi,
I belong to a couple of other groups (msn groups and yahoo groups) and I am able to set up my account to receive messages as they're posted to the board or get a daily summary of all messages posted that day. I can't seem to figure out how to do that here, but it seems like others have? I have subscribed to a couple of forums, but I only get messages if they are the first message replying after one of my posts. No big deal, it would just be nice not to have come to the site to check posts but just read them as they're posted. Am I crazy?? :confused: Thanks for your help!

You can't get e-mail notifications of new posts in new threads. The only way you get email notification is if you start a thread or if you participate in a thread or you can click on "Subscribe to this thread" at the bottom of the page if you don't want to participate. You'll have to visit the Board to check for new threads and read all the email notifications anyway, post content is not sent through the email.

Additionally, you will only receive 1 email notification of a thread, it will not send you any info about additional replies made to the thread until after you click on the link in your email notification. After you visit, it will once again send you 1 notification if any more replies are made.
