Hi, I'm a first time poster, but I've been reading some of the threads for several weeks and let me begin by saying that I think this is an excellent forum and resource for people who are serious about law enforcement. It's great to finally find a community of like-minded compadres

That being said, I have a question about the FBI PT. I'd like to train exactly as if i was taking the PT but i need to know in what order do they do the exercises?

Second, how much break time do you get between exercises?

Forgive me if these questions have already been asked before.

Thanks!

Test is the same for both FBI and DEA with some difference in situp protocol. But to your question....pullups, pushups, situps, shuttle and 2 mile run. Time between events is as long as it takes for your group to set up for the next event. Usually not less than 10 minutes, then you wait your turn to test in that group. After the shuttle, you have time to go to the locker room, change into running shoes and get a drink and walk out to the track. Usually about 15 minutes.

Train hard and take the test in the above order. You'll do all events to failure and the 2 mile run is much different AFTER your legs are pumped up after the 120 yd shuttle run. DM

There's an awesome quote I see at the academy stating, "Once you choose law enforcement, you loose the right to be unfit".
