Hi folks,

I've tried to edit the information I originally entered into my profile and the system isn't allowing me. I am using a e-mail address from a paid ISP (Optimum Online with a @optonline.net e-mal address). Can this be fixed? I would like to make some changes and delete some items from my profile, thanks.

I tried changing my email for 911jobforums awhile ago myself. I also wanted to change it to my optonline email but it wouldn't let me.. even though I pay for that email.

Do you get an error message? If so, what does it say? Are you also trying to change your email address?

DelC,

This is what message I receive when I try to make changes such as deleting what state I live in:

"Sorry. The administrator has banned your email address. To contact the administrator click here"

I haven't edited/modified my e-mail address. Two things: 1) Why has this e-mail address been banned?? This is a paid ISP-based e-mail account so in my opinion it should not be banned. 2) When I created this profile, the system allowed me to use this e-mail address.

So it doesn't make sense that it first let me use my e-mail address to create a profile, then it doesn't allow me to make changes. My e-mail address ending in "@optonline.net" is a broadband cable modem, ISP that is a PAID account. This is not one of those free, web-based e-mail account like Hotmail.

Best,

Jim

Have you tried "click here" to contact the administrator?

Bob,

I was able to make the changes now thank you.

DelC,

Thank you for the assistance. In the past when I tried that link it would send me back to the homepage.

Best,

Jim
