how do you guys practice to improve your max 1 minute sit up and push up scores

how many sets and reps and rest do you take?

do you do any supplemental exercises to help increase your score?

Much of the sit-ups (as they are tested- hands laced behind the head-) are actually the hip-flexor muscles doing the hard work. Leg raises and butterflies I find are the best. for push-ups, I guess just keep doing more push-ups- stack them and build up your endurance.

8 minutes ABS works great.

Remember to not neglect the rest of your body. Continue to run and work out.

ive noticed that the hip flexors do feel more streesed than the abs during situp test where your ankles are held and your fingers are interlaced behind your head

i know what leg raises are but what are butterflies how do you perform that exercise?

how many sets and reps do you do of these?

thanks

Butterflies: Lay on your back. Place your hands under your tailbone in a diamond shape and begin by keeping your feet together six inches off the ground; head and shoulders up off the floor. Then kick your feet- remember not to touch the floor with your feet or rest your head. You'll know when you do it right- usually after a good three sets of 20. Killer exercise.
