I'm in fair to good shape overall, but have never been any sort of decent runner. I've been a strong swimmer (I think I still am,) and a competitive cyclist with excellent results. My weight training has been spotty over the past year, sad to say.

Ideally, I'd like to get on-track for reasonably sound fitness in the event that FPS flies police officer jobs in the near-term (I'm hoping they will). I've been told that they're changing the standards to make their PT program TOUGH.

I've got a pretty good gym and a nearby track not too far from the house (walking distance, actually).

Any suggestions and/or recommendations are gratefully appreciated!

as an integrated program Body for Life by Bill Phillips is awesome. You can really produce some great results. A word of caution: it is full of supplements from his company (EAS). You can use these or go with natural supplements-your choice. S/F GRG
