I did a search on the internet to see about learning some good stretches so I don't kill myself. If I had a dime for all of the different stretches I found, I'd be rich! I'd also have no time, as I would be too busy doing all of the stretches.
So, with (the lack of) time being an element in deciding, I want to find out what stretches are going to be most productive for me, and what stretches are more of an extra curricular type of stretching.
I plan on resistance training, as well as cardio (biking, etc.). From a stretching standpoint, I owuld be considered a rookie, as I am about as flexible as a 2X4. I know if I start working out, I need to stretch otherwise the potential for injury increases. Also, with muscles being essentially seditary (sp?) they've got to be woken up.
Any suggestions or sources would be appreciated!
