I just want an work out I can do evryday to get me to the place I needto be if I get a call. Im looking for somone to tell me EX like, 50 pushups a day 50 sityups etc. Running.I hope this makes sence. I would go to FLETC for either IEA or custom inspector.

Well this is going to depend on where you live and if you have or can get a gym membership. I would recomendbeing able to run 2 miles since the test might be a 1.5 mile run. Start slow, running for 10 minutes three times a week. Then increase it to 15 minutes and finally 20 minutes or however long it takes you to do 2 miles.
Do situps. Try to get to 300 two to three times a week. Don't do this many to start. Build up to it. Start a t 100 first, then 200 and then 300. Stretch at least once a day, every day.
Pushups are a good idea. First do as many as you can in 1 minute. Then make a plan from there doing sets at 1/3 the amount. Example, 65 pushup max do 3 to 4 sets at 20 to 25 pushups. Rest for a minute in between each set. Do that two to three times a week. If you can get to a gym to left weights you can ask a trainer for more specific stuff. Another good one is walking lunges around your house. I hope this helps a bit.

Check out the Physical Fitness and Law Enforcement (http://www.911jobforums.com/vB/forumdisplay.php3?s=&forumid=106) forum. Lots of good info there.

Find something you enjoy that also gets you fit. If you go with a strict regiment of running/push ups/sit ups it might get old fast. While you should work on those things, try to also develop a more active lifestyle, go hiking, swimming, play hoops, find a gym you can hit at lunch or before work. tennis, (outrigger canoeing if your "lucky to live Hawaii") whatever you like. If you get used to leading an active lifestyle you will be better off and in better shape and it will last. If you begin a monotonous workout program based solely on your assignment to FLETC it will be easy to abandon once you leave GA.

Not only that, when it takes longer to get there, than you had hoped, you'll get miffed for just working out for that goal. I'd pick a nice goal for yourself, not based on employment, and go for that.
Also, if you're working out to get in shape, start with your diet. I was in good shape, but recently cut out caffeine and any sugar I could...I ended up getting close to the same size I was in high school. Plus some upper body mass...I was a skinny dork in high school...at least I'm not skinny now :D

This may think this is a stupid question, but do you mean situps or crunches? I have heard people say that situps tend to hurt people's lower backs more and crunches can help achieve a better 'burn' in the ab area. Thoughts? FLETC's practice?
