If you are a DT instructor, I'd like to trade PMs with you. I am DTI for my office, and our program needs a jump start. Looking to beg, borrow, steal, coerce, plead, extort, plagarize, and did I mention steal, any training aids, ideas, resources, video tapes, and anything else of value you may have.

Just thought I'd be honest about my intentions.

[That didn't sound desperate did it?]

You probably already know about this, but I'll post it for the benefit of others. The American Society of Law Enforcement Trainers (ASLET) has a ton of info from what I've seen (I recently joined, though DT isn't my training field) and they provide resources and links and hold conferences for all sorts of training ideas, techniques, etc. There's also the National Tactical Officers Assoc. (NTOA), and I'd bet they have some excellent resources regarding DT and CQB training. Again, I'm betting you've already tapped these and like resources, but I thought I'd post it for posterity.

Mac,

I have a bunch of information (packets, theory, diagrams) from the days that I taught a course. Wasn't law enforcement specific, but solid information - guy that developed it is a veteran and designed/taught some programs at FLETC years back.

Shoot me a PM with a fax number or a land address and I'll send it if you want.

Take care.

You might want to check out SPEAR and Progressive Fighting Systems. I'll send you a PM with their websites.

Krav Maga's stress training drills for both civilian and Law Enforcement are some of the best around.

Their website is www.kravmaga.com (http://www.kravmaga.com)
