Where is the best(cheapest) place to buy Danner Acadias? I'm not opposed to buying online, in fact you can probably save some on sales tax if you find someone willing to offer free shipping. Getting tired of wearing Hi-Tec Magnums and want some real boots. This looks like a good use of X-Mas money. It looks as though $199.99 is the magic number for the best deal. GT Distributors out of Austin offers them for this price, but they charge tax whereas some online shops don't. Any ideas would be appreciated. Also, any other boots that compare in look and comfort would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and stay safe!

$192.91 with shipping from Streichers.com. Local company that our dept and I have purchased from. These guys and gals are very professional and I would purchase from them any day. Our dept. just purchased 100 new Glocks from them. They are having a sale on the Acadia boots now. I know that Botach Tactical also had the Acadia's for an excellent price if you were able to purchase them on the Govt./LE rate. I think that I bought mine from them for around $170 or so. I don't see that they have those prices anymore but you could call and ask. Good luck.

Also found them on sale at farmpolicesupply.com for $179.95 shipped. They are also on sale now. Some of our officers have ordered the Glock M3 LED from this outfit also so they are legit.

Tactical Gear Supply in Forest Park, GA or Tactical Survival Specialties. Both places sell them for about $170. -- K.S. 1*

Just to let you know, farmpolicesupply has them on sale right now for $169.99. Unsure about shipping because my computer keeps screwing up, I may just have to call to find out. Now if I can only find somewhere around here that carries the Acadias so I can try them on to get the proper size before I order a $170 pair of boots just to have them not fit when they show up. Thanks for the insight and happy holidays.
