I've found they are God's gift to midnight shift officers and anyone who clears buildings, offices, schools etc when there is low-light or no light.

I bought the basic M3 and its wonderful. Though now I'm thinking I want to get the light with the green l.e.d.

jaybird, I carry the M-6 on my Glock 22 on patrol and love the thing. It was one of the best purchases I've made. It took me a little while to get used to both it and the new holster but after several range hours, I'm feeling very confident in its use. I definitely suggest it others if thier department allows.

I'm just curious sigy, but have if you actually had a perp that you had the laser dot on, if they knew, what were they saying?

Did they seem to actually have the point driven home that if they screw up make a sudden move, they knew that round was coming righ that spot?

jaybird, unfortunately were not allowed to use the laser feature on the M-6, just the light. We're actually approved for the M-3 but I already owned the M-6, so they allowed me to use it. I've always wondered if the laser would really have any effect on them or not.

I have the M-3 on my Glock 21 but wish I went with the sure-fire. I'm not a fan of the streamline but the price was right. If I had to do it all over again I would dish out the extra cash and invest in a sure-fire.

I'm told the laser dot from long guns and the tazers has a pretty good effect on bandits, so I'm sure the laser from the light would do the same :D

Sigy,

Which holster do you use with that combo? Our dept just purchased us new G22's and they are allowing us to use the M-6/M-3 if we want. I have only found the Safariland SLS holster that will fit both the gun and the light at the same time. We are not allowed to carry tac holsters and it has to be in basketweave. Any advice or model number would be great.

Olympiccop2002 I think the Safariland S6280-8321-262 fits the bill. However I have never tried it

I use the safariland holsets made to hold the M lights and Glock 22 combo's.

The holster works great for me. At first, as with all holsters, it was a little tight. Now it has loosened up and works great. It also has two retention screws you can use to help out.

Can you use the holster without the light on or do you have to use the light

Bjorn, I use safariland model #6280-8321-82 for the M-6/ Glock 22 combo. It's level II and basketweave. You do need to use the light with it.
