job hunt

I am about to graduate with a BA in Communications. I have worked as an EMT-I for a hospital based service in NH for the last three and a half years. As well as a firefighter with a call department for the same amount of time. I am looking for and EMS job in the northeastern US and am having limited success.
I am looking at a job with University Hospital-EMS in Newark, NJ. Can anyone tell me about the experence that they had there? Any other job oppertunitys that you should happen to hear about would also be helpfull.
