i just passed my NREMT exams for emt-b. i had a DUI last year in CT but i went thru drunk school for that and they had the court file sealed. DA said that if i make it till april 2004 without another DUI it would be as if it never happened. you guys think this will affect my employment? ;) also does anybody have any idea where i could apply here in jersey city? is it also a good idea to start with just medical transport services then move on to ambulance servives. seems like they're the ones always hiring ( transport, i mean)thanks for any info

By it being sealed, does that mean it won't show up on your driving record? I'm not sure how things are done in NJ, but in my state having a DUI last year would definitely hurt you. You'd be able to do patient care, but not able to drive the ambulance for 5 years.
