not to mention how nice it is to be able to have less hassle with equipment, in general. I just got a pair of Unlce Mike's duty suspenders and am not sure how I got along without them. It used to be a constant battle keeping everything up and my shirt tucked in. Also, gone are the days of having to loosen the thigh holster for re-adjustment a handful of times. Now, everything just stays in place. Fortunately I don't have to wear all that gear everyday, so on the days that I do gear up, the suspenders go on under my vest, which goes on over my clothes. I know some departments won't allow uniformed officers to use suspenders, but if you can figure out a way to swing it, it's worth it.

Suspenders are the way to go. I used a pair of the Uncle Mike's for a while but the attached keepers kept unsnaping. I switched over to a pair from High Speed Gear Inc, a top notch product. They have a unique design that allows a lot of flexability and still supports a loaded duty belt with no problem. The Eagle LBE suspenders and also very nice.
