I have a hotmail.com email account and when I tried to register, the registration program stated, "The administrator of this forum has denied your email address." It also had a link to contact someone, but it was blank. I've done a search on the forum for hotmail and came up blank. I was able to register with the free account through my ISP, but was wondering what's the deal with hotmail?

Thank,
Don Miller

Only allowed to register using a proprietary email account (i.e. email address given by an ISP: AOL, Earthlink, Mac.com, corporate, etc.). Forums don't allow hotmail, yahoo, etc. Hope that answers your questions.

Well I need to chime in here.. I've recently registered a new domain using my full name and when I attempted to change my email to it, it was also denied..

Can any admin PM me and help me out?

That message is correct. Hotmail/yahoo are two that you can't use. Yes you can be one of the few that pay for your hotmail and yahoo email address however they are just not a valid email address to use with this board.

PM me with the email that was denied please.

I'll send a PM too - a buddy of mine has tried to register with his "normal" address but keeps getting rejected.

Hope it's OK.

Thanks!

Folks,

I have all your Pm's and emails. I have shared them with some of the other moderators and we are trying to figure out what the problem is. If and when the problem is located and fixed I will post the info for you all.

Thank You
