Email attached to our account

Today is my last day at my current agency. I am using my work email on my account because all of my other accounts are free accounts. My IT guy is cancelling my email tomorrow and I will not have a new work email until next week.

Will my account freeze?

Can I just change it next week?

Is Google's gmail considered a free account?

I think as long as you don't try to change it you should be okay, until you get another email. As for Gmail I don't know if that is in the free email filter.

Gmail doesn't work - I tried. I still have my account listed under an AOL account that hasn't been active for over a year.
