My thoughts and prayers are with this family:

Deputy Wayne Koester
Lake County Sheriff's Office
Florida
Deputy Koester and two other deputies were shot while responding to a domestic violence call in Ocala National Forest. Deputy Koester died after being transported to a hospital.

Both of the surviving deputies have been released (for sure on one). A memorial service will be held Wed. for Deputy Koester.
The suspect, Wheeler, was taken into custody at appx. 1700 hrs on the same day after a second shoot out with the Lake County Sheriff's Office. Last update was Wheeler is possibly paralyzed.
