I used to get email notification when I get a new PM, but the system stopped doing that a couple of months ago. My User CP still has the "send email notification" box checked.

Has anyone else had this problem, or know how to fix it?

Is it a work email address? I am just wondering if the email from this board is being blocked by your internal email server.

Just a thought ... the only thing it might be is if 911jobforums has been black listed for some reason. Meaning they have been put on a SPAM list that is being blocked from your email list.

I will set this up for myself and see if it works.

I just tested this for myself and it works ... I got the email notification.

I'm leaning towards your email server blocking emails from 911jobforum.

Good luck!

Well, I still get "New Job notifications" from 911jobforums, so I don't think they have been banned. I don't think they actually ban anything considering the amount of "Porntacular" emails I get.

I just went into your profile and everything is set the way it should be. I see you are using a EDU email, and would think it is the email program that has decided to look at those emails as spam and filter them out. My email sends all email from this forum except the New Job notifications as if feels for whatever reason those are spam :o

I think that the New Job Notifications are sent in bulk, which is why the system would see those as spam and not other things from the site.

I really don't think that the email I use filters anything out. Is it possible to change email addresses? Maybe I'll try that.

Yes you can as long as it is not a free email service like Yahoo, Hotmail, Excite and Gmail. The board won't take those
