I know I started a thread in the Federal section last night. It was cleverly called "I'm from the streets!"...and now I can't seem to find it anywhere. :o Can someone look into it and let me know what happened? By someone I mean admin/mod type....

Eh? What happened between last night and this morning? Also, the courtesy of an explanation would be nice...or at least a PM saying that it was removed. Just seems weird.

I removed it. It's a topic that we've beaten to death, but more importantly, it's one that has ALWAYS resulted in heated arguments; with people proclaiming the merits of one type of experience so much more than another as a prerequisite for LE. People have always gotten ornery, insulted each other, and some have gotten the boot for it. I felt it better that we not go there (if you look at the reference to this topic in the recent thread where it was discussed, it's pretty clear that there are some VERY differing opinions, and no matter how many times we tell people to be flexible, keep an open mind, or consider all views, some people simply cannot be swayed from an "all-or-nothing" view, which is almost always a problem here).

You guys who had responded thus far were civil, but based on past experiences with the topic, it was not likely to stay that way. Sorry for not warning you about it.

No worries...I didn't pay much attention to the people causing trouble...I was more interested in the actual idea of street experience...in truth, it seems like a funny thing to try and quantify...my street experience is bigger then yours! I completely understand what you mean....but seeing the thread done and gone made me wanna get all street on yah! :D
