It's a long shot, but does anyone out there have any info (the good, the bad, the ugly) on investigator positions with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice?

Thanks,

Nice job to have. They must be State cert. Peace officer with street expierence and or time as a correctional officer with TDCJ. Most work is Internal Affairs-Dirty officers, sexual relations, extortion ect... some investigations on excessive uses of force and that type of stuff. Every one on the Investigators I have incountered have been top notch people. It would be a great job to have. If I can help with any other information, let me know.:p

I think they also handle fugitive investigations related to escapees from TX DOC...at least, they were one of the points of contact and information resources for search for the seven escapees earlier this year.
