"By mid-September, New Jersey state troopers will be required to get a sergeant's approval before conducting a type of vehicle search that has been at the heart of the turmoil over racial profiling."

Well I must agree I mean a GREAT DEPT. being put through s*it because of politics. I mean NJSP is a out standing organization. I mean calling a Sgt. before tossing a car is not a good thing. Well anyway that is what I wanted to add.

IMO they let this craziness happen. The NJSP “folded” under the political winds. They have cameras in the cars, what else do you want? This sends a clear message to every NJ State Trooper that there are not trusted. If I were interested in the NJSP, I wouldn’t be now.
