polygraph for FHP??

I just received word about a polygraph for the florida highway patrol on spet 13, 2001 in Tallahassee. Can anyone give me some insight on what this is like. This is the first polygraph I have done and really this is the most important one, this is the job I really want. any other information would be really helpful, I am trying to do everything right so I can increase my chances of getting hired.

Polygraphs are no big deal just make sure that you tell the truth. I just got out of the Marines about 2 months ago and I had to take a Polygragh as my final step with applying for the GA State Patrol and I passed mine with ease b/c I got all my skeletons out of the closet. Just be truthful and be calm . Wish you well, take care and good luck.

Just stay calm and collected. They know you're going to be nervous anyway. My advice is to be honest about your past. It's better to give information about your past, rather than answering questions about it later after a background investigation turns something up.
