I'm not completely through the process, but things seem to be flying by for me. I've never seen the government move so fast...

I think I'm almost done

No calls yet. I was printed and drug tested today. I am now finished with all the steps. I was told I just have to wait.

Speaking of SSG classes, I was wondering if anyone had any non-sensitive info about what the classes consist of. For example, I am in the running for an Investigative Specialist position. I know, from the job announcement and from other postings here, that the training is 6-weeks long and has a significant driving component. However, I was wondering if anyone knows if there is PT during the training? I guess I just want to be as prepared as possible IF I am selected. :D

Thanks for any feedback on this!

I do not think there is any PT component. Aside from being healthly, not much is required. Just be in decent shape.

Its actually honorable schoolboy. What are you a BI? There is no need to make undue drug references about my screen name. LOL :D

There's not true PT, but you do need to be in decent shape.

Any one received a letter a call for the next SSG Classes in July?

No letter but when I talked to my AC last week they told me that the target hire date (for me) was somewhere from mid-late August. Not too sure if that helps at all but they also said the target date for my BI compleation was Mid-June. Im actually very amazed how fast the process has been for me. Anyone else having the same luck? or anyone stuck after completing the following? When I was scheduled for the fianl tests, My AC acted as if they were pretty close to finishing up. again not sure if this helps but this is my path so far.

Also what do you mean by decent shape? Im no longer huffing and puffing up the stairs and can run a good mile but is this like semi-super bionic human condition or something along the lines of the average 25 year old male should be?

Sounds like you'll be fine for physical conditioning. :) Can't go into details, obviously, but you should be fine.

Just finished talking to my AC. He says the next SSG class will start July 3rd. Hopefully, I will see you guys there.
