Just stopped a SUV. Had a complaint that the passenger was sitting on the window running a video camera. I get two guys from Holland who thought they would get some vacation video of where they stayed. Got to tell ya, video of western Kansas ranks real high of my vacations memories. NOT

Dont joke about the Moose. There was one that wandered thru Kansas back in the 80s. The Wildlife and Parks people thought he had a problem with his brain. Probably an infection or virus.
The moose was a celibrity for about 2 months. He was a feature in every small town newspaper when he passed thru. He even stopped at a farm for a couple of weeks. But the cow that lived there wasnt interested. The moose was last seen leaving the state in a SW direction.
Wildlife and Parks had a heck of a time keeping him alive. Kansas didnt have any regs against shooting moose.
