Ohio Highway Patrol

Does anyone know anything about the Ohio Highway Patrol? I've tested for them but I really don't know anything about the reputation of the department. How does it compare to the Pennsylvania State Police, which is where I really want to go (but they're not taking anymore applicants off the current list until they test again in 2002).

The Ohio Highway Patrol is more of a Traffic centric organization. Not to say that all Highway patrols are, but Ohio is. Whereas with the Pennsylvania State Police duties run the full gamut of officer related tasks. Both organizations are well respected. It comes down to what YOU think about it.

Ohio is a very well respected and trained organization. I wouldn't hesitate at all to apply with them.
