You can go to your local SS office and ask for a print out of ALL employment you have ever had. The NYPD makes you get a copy of the past five years and it MUST be stamped ( sealed). When you do go be sure to get TWO copy's for the next apl you might want to fill out. Will they DQ you? I would think so but you still have a chance to call the dept "ASAP" and tell them you have more info to add to your apl. Next time be sure to have ALL your info at hand if you need to write it down to make sure you have all times ( years ) counted for then do so.

Good luck

If there is any place that ask for it ( apl. Poly) PUT IT DOWN AND EXPLAIN IT. Since you where 17 at the time and you where not charged then it's safe to say it wont be a problem. BUT if you don't and your BI finds out about it then it's DQ time. Be honest from the get go and it will work out.

Best of luck.

I would have to agree with snpusmc and check out this from TANKMGA8 on a previous post.

SHOULD YOU TELL ALL?!?

Without a doubt,

You tell them they don't find anything out, you are still in the process.

You tell all and they find out something, you will probably still be in the process.

You don't tell all, they don't find out anything but if it bothers you here, it will bother you on the poly, they ask what was bothering you, you tell then, you are DQ.

You don't tell all, they find out about it, you are DQ.

You decide which one you want to risk, the first two are what I would bet on. If you tell them and they say ok, nobody was an angel and you go on. You feel better and stand a much better chance with it all out in the open.

Couldn't have said it much better myself! :D

Best Wishes,
Steve

I just went into the SS office in town said I needed my employment history for a background check, the nice lady behind the counter asked if it was for law enforcement, took some info and an ID and gave me a printout of EVERY job I had had back to hardees at 16. Mabye you could get a list that way. Say you had remembered some jobs after the fact and say you researched it and wanted to be as accurate as possible?
