My boss and I blew off part of the work day to make a run for the boarder to buy Power Ball tickets (no, I am not a LEO). As we were standing in line people around us start discussing how the store we are standing in front of was robbed the day before. Now, this is a huge liquor store, and you know w/ all the tickets being sold there is bound to be large amounts of cash. But they bypass all that to steal $15,000 worth of Power Ball tickets! How stupid can you be??? First off the tickets are numbered, so if one of them would win, they know it is from a stolen ticket, and secondly, why pass up a sure thing to gamble on the lottery?!
I kinda hope one of them wins just so they get busted. I will be willing to share my jackpot with them since their ticket will be null and void. :D
