Hello to all. Just joined this site and still learning how to use it. I am a Cpl. working the midnight shift in the fine City of Hampton, VA. Have worked mids for 14 months and still waiting to get some sleep. Looking forward to checking out this site. And yes we are the department with the baby blue cars

I saw an announcement that Hampton is hiring, but I was unable to make the orientation this round. I spoke to an officer in Norfolk where I am currently testing. He said he does not recommend Hampton, due to internal problems. Can you refute or confirm this or comment on the current state of affairs within the HPD? Also do you have an opinon on the Norfolk or Portsmouth PD? Thanks.

Mids is the shift I prefer. Can't stand working days. Too many chefs and not enough cooks. I have been working mids for 6 years and I love it. Anyways, welcome and stay safe!
