Hey fellas,

I know i have asked this about 1.2 million times but i just got some news and thought i would run it by you all. I just got a message from my background investigator who has scheduled a FINAL interview for me in 2 weeks. Would this seem to indicate that I have passed my background check? If so, i have passed the phsyical, written, oral and vision tests so all i have left is the psych eval and medical check. This is for the largest agency in cali and last i heard they are taking all that are qualified. does it sounds like i am really close now?

Congrats, I think you're getting closer! One thing your BI is probably doing, (and this is good because it means you're still processing as you haven't gotten the "No Thanks" letter) is getting your final interview to go over some details of your background, and/or to update any additional information he/she might need from you.

The followup interview is usually just to wrap things up. Then off to psych and medical!

The next meet with the BI will probably cover any questions they may have and give you the opportunity to let them know of anything that's changed since starting the process. The BI is usually time consuming, however usually a smooth process. Most applicants have problems with the medical and psychological portions of the testing. Not to cause worry, it's just another hurdle to conquer in the hiring process!
