I posted this question once before in a different thread, but I am hoping this title will get a good response. Can anyone tell me if there is a NYPD Museum, and where it would be located? Thanks for your help!

UNLESS IT HAS MOVED AGAIN, IT IS ON BROADWAY IN LOWER MANHATTAN/WALL STREET AREA.

The NYPD Museum is pretty good. I figured that it would be a bunch of patches on the walls and that's about it. It actually had quite a few other exhibits and some interactive ones as well. They do have a FATS machine as well, that they pick a few folks to try out as a demonstration to the others.

Sort of funny story, when I went, the Sgt running it picked me randomly out of the crowd. After giving us a few instructions and advice such as "now, don't be afraid of the gun" and "talk to the screen if you want" he fired up the excercise. First one was a traffic stop where BG bailed out with a rifle. Well, several well chosen loud verbal commands and a two to the chest ond one to the head later, the Sgt just looked at me and said "you've done this before haven't you"?

Maybe this is one of those 'you had to be there' stories, but the crowd found it pretty funny at the time.
