Greetings, I have been waiting a looooong time to post in here! I just got back from my "Chief's Interview" for a small town PD. At the end of the interview I was given the conditional offer, (provided I pass the Poly,Psych. and Medical...) So on to the next step! With any luck I will be sworn-in at my academy graduation next month...

Thanks for all the tips/advice, I am not out of the woods yet, but I am feeling pretty motivated at this point!

Hey Congrads,

And a Question to everyone about this Subject. I think it would be really exciting job to be a cheif of like a one man dept, or very small dept, out in the middle of no where. Any one hear of a job opening up or know where I could look to at least inquire.

One of our Dispatchers a couple years ago, actually got a job as a cheif out in the middle of no-where in montana. And I think that would be pretty cool.
