Does anyone have experience using the Safariland self-locking holster, model 6280? It's a unique looking holster, with a hood that swivels open and closed with an inner thumb push. We were issued these at the academy. Occasionally when I draw, the weapon sticks if not drawn out straight. This is something that worries me and I've been considering replacing it. Any suggestions?? The 6280 is a level 2. I've been looking at some
level 3 holsters, but where I work, there are guns everywhere on the street and I draw my weapon several times a night.
Advanced thanks for any useful info

I would highly recomend you take a look at the safariland model 295. It is a level 2 with a forward thumb break snap. Easy to draw with practice and even easier to re-holster.
You may also want to look at the 070 III. It is a level 3 but is easy to draw from with practice. However it is far more difficult to re-holster. Just my opinion, and yes I have carried both at work.
