i just got hired :) i been waiting forever........i live in newark nj....but they are sending me to the camden police academy :( that drive is going to suck.....but i have to do what i have to do.....

Congrats on your new job!!! Kinda sucks driving from the "Bricks" ALLLLLLLL the way to south Jersey! "i have to do what i have to do" That said it all! Who did you get on with? One more question. Isn't there an academy in Newark? GOOD LUCK!

i got pick up by rutgers newark.....newark did have an academy but it started in early aug....my background was done by then....

Yeah, that long drive will be the pits, but it'll be worth it in the long run ! Best of Luck in the academy !

Even though the commute will be a drag, just keep in mind that the academy will be over before you know it, and that many others who are still awaiting "the call" would do just about anything to be in your shoes right now.
