First off, hello to everyone! Situation: I have Night Q (qualification) with my service weapon coming up shortly. Anyhow, I still haven't found a flashlight that I fill comfortable with. I know I want one of the bulkier flashlights. I just don’t know what name brand to buy or what name brand can be trusted. Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thanx!
I have two streamlights one is the stinger which is small and fits on my belt and the other is the full size plastic model. I would recommend a rechargable flashlight but that is up to you.

When you say you want a "bulkier" flashlight, what exactly do you mean? If you are looking for a fullsize light, I would recommend the MagCharger from Maglight, which is basically a rechargeable version of their standard 3 cell flashlight. Great light, lasts a lot longer than the standard Mag and is much, much brighter. A fullsize light provides a good shooting platform for night fire (although you need to use whatever you are going to carry in the field). If you want a smaller flashlight, I prefer the Stinger from Streamlight. My recommendation would be to buy a fullsize and a tactical light, keep the smaller one on your belt at all times and have the fullsize handy (when I was in uniform, I used a fullsize ring-holder in place of one of my belt keepers)...but, go with whatever you are comfortable with (within agency guidelines, of course).
For a "bulkier" full-sized flashlight, consider getting a rechargable mag or Streamlight SL-20X. Both are heavy duty and dependable. For a tactical light for night shoots or building clearances, I would recommend getting a SureFire Z2 Combat light. It basically fits in the palm of your hand but is very bright. We just got issued these and I've been very satisfied when using them for clearing buildings. I also have the Stinger from Streamlight, which is also an excellent tactical light, but prefer using the SureFire.
