Does anyone use a Surefire X200 Tac Light? If so does anyone know if surefire gives you a LEA discount direct i heard they give you 25% off ... and how do people like them they look great on the gun and they are extremely bright , better illumination than an M3 tact light .. Give me some feed back
Thanks,

I don't know if they sell direct to consumers, but you could probably find a dealer which offers a LE/Govt/Military discount. Got mine that way.
As for illumination, they are very bright and the controls are pretty good. Rotate the switch to turn the light on full time, or press against the switch to get momentary function. I've got a M3 as well and the X200 is definitely brighter, more focused and about the same on the ergonomics.
One downside is that on a metal framed gun, the aluminum clips of the X200 tend to create more marks on the metal frame than does the plastic clips of the M3. Minor thing, but if you put a lot of value in the cosmetic appearance of your gun, you may have an issue with the minor damage caused by the rubbing from the recoil of the gun on the light.
