The other day I get this report of a vehicle that had struck several fences and was attempting to leave the scene. This was out in the country, so it was about 20 miles from were I was. As I'm traveling out there I notice a red Dodge Stealth sitting on the side of the road which appeard to have a bomb go off in it. My keen Det. mind tells me that this might be the car, so I turn around and pull in behind the car. As I walked up to the car I notice that every single window had been busted out, there was marks all over the car from were it had struck the barb wire, the front tires were blown out and the rims had melted do to the driver driving on them while they were busted the car looked like something out of Beruit. I walked up to the driver who was still sitting behind the steering wheel and asked him with a stern voice "hey, what happend." He looked at me with that ever dazed look and replied "I think my alternator went out."
